In many ways, this mirrors the lives of Myanmar migrants scattered across the world. They leave their homeland to earn money, to uplift their families, and to secure a brighter future for their children. But deep inside, most carry a quiet promise: “One day, I will return home.”
Yet reality often makes that promise difficult. Paperwork problems, job responsibilities, travel restrictions, and countless other obstacles stand in the way. Parents are missed, children are longed for, and the familiar warmth of home feels painfully distant. Many migrants whisper to themselves: “Just wait a little longer…”
But here lies the strength of the human spirit. Just as salmon defy the currents, migrants too endure hardships with resilience. The longing for home is not a weakness—it is a testament to love, dignity, and belonging. No distance can erase that feeling.
May the day come soon when every migrant can return with peace of mind, with honor, and with fewer obstacles. May the journey home be not a struggle against impossible currents, but a gentle path back to loved ones.
Because home is not just a place. No matter how far, no matter how long… It is always the destination of the heart.

တစ်နေ့တော့ ရေစီးကို ဆန့်ကျင်ပြီး၊ ရေတံခွန်တွေကို ခုန်ကျော်ပြီး၊ အသက်အန္တရာယ်မျိုးစုံကို ဖြတ်ကျော်ကာ မွေးဖွားခဲ့တဲ့ ဇာတိမြစ်ကို ပြန်တက်လာကြတယ်။
အကြောင်းရင်းက တစ်ခုတည်း။
“သူတို့ရဲ့ မျိုးဆက်ကို ဆက်လက်ရှင်သန်စေဖို့၊ ဥချဖို့ပါ”
အဲဒီခရီးက လွယ်လို့ မဟုတ်ဘူး။ရေစီးကို ဆန်ရတယ်။
