Strong Condemnation and Commitment to Action Within the Legal Framework

Date: April 12, 2026

Respected Citizens,

Islam is a religion founded on peace. Its teachings primarily emphasize peace and harmony among its followers. In Myanmar’s history, since the time of the ancient kings, Muslims have lived peacefully alongside others, fulfilling national duties, protecting the country, and serving loyally under royal commands. Even today, Muslims continue to serve responsibly in various sectors of the nation.

However, in every religion there are individuals who distort its image by spreading hatred and creating problems. Recently, through TikTok accounts (Pu Tuu Ko Ko 969) and (Ko Ko PuTuuLay), live broadcasts were made that mocked the Islamic call to prayer (Azan) and the sacred names of Allah. These broadcasts included offensive and insulting remarks, which deeply hurt the feelings of Muslims. Furthermore, it was publicly stated during a live broadcast that their pet dog had been named after the Creator revered by Muslims, which caused anger and distress among the community.

As Muslims, it is our duty to prevent and resist any deliberate acts of disrespect, defamation, or insults against Allah and Islamic symbols—whether committed by Muslims or non-Muslims—through lawful means, in accordance with the laws of the country.

Therefore, the AL-HAADI Center Myanmar (Central Guidance Association) strongly condemns these insults. We also announce to the public that our Central Executive Committee, together with our legal advisory team and senior religious leaders, will continue to take necessary step-by-step actions within the framework of the law regarding this matter.
