“They say the beginning of Myanmar starts from Tagaung…… In 826 BC, Abhiyaza had a conflict with soldiers of the Assyrian Empire in the Judea territory. So he took his family and some followers and fled towards Iran. From there, he crossed the Caspian Sea and went down to the Middle Country (Majjhima Desa)… where he built villages and barns again. From there, he went through Kapilavastu, Mizoram, and Manipur, and moved down into Tagaung.

Kan Yazar Gyi and his brother had about half Jewish blood. While living there, they hooked up with the native Pyu village women. In Chinese records, Pyu is called ‘pyao’ (disappear). Therefore, pure Burmans carry both Chinese blood and Jewish blood. That’s why we consider China our benefactor, and instinctively love Jews from the bottom of our hearts. Even Uncle U Thukha wanted to name his movie ‘The Crust is Chinese, the Core is Jewish’… but fearing it wouldn’t pass censorship, he named it ‘The Crust is Love, the Core is Affection’.

Kan Yazar Gyi studied for about 10 years in northern India near Mizoram. The Chins from the Myanmar side uncovered those records and applied for a Residence Permit from the Jews. Netanyahu said Myanmar Chins are too tricky, so he only selected Indian Chins, giving them instant citizenship under their Law of Return… Even though Chins are the same, Chins from Chin State and Chins from Mizoram are still being discriminated against… If Myo Kyawt Myaing was from Thantlang, I think he’d write a song called ‘The Sorrow of Being a Chin’… (Just reposting a comment I left in a Chin group during the Middle East war out of spite).”

  • The Sanda Thuriya Error: Kan Yazar Gyi did not become King Sanda Thuriya. According to Arakanese traditions, King Sanda Thuriya ruled much later (traditionally credited with casting the famous Mahamuni Buddha Image around the time of the Buddha or 2nd Century CE). Kan Yazar Gyi is credited as an earlier ancestor.
