Soldiers in military vehicles used to go to Buddhist temples and monasteries to help clean up earthquake damage. The religious buildings of the other religions like Masjids and Churches are not even given permission to clear and strictly prohibited to do so, and no official has come to visit the damaged areas or offer support to the victims.
