Court Decision official papers on October 5, 2026 to Confiscate နောင်ချိုဗလီ Nawng Cho Myoma Masjid

This is an OLD 2025 case BUT the CASE FINISHED NOW..LOOK at the date 2026 September 28 and the ORDER came out on 5th. October 2026 only.

I am not digging up the old case as some of my learnt friends accused.

This is an official court order from the Nothern Shan State, Kyaukme District Court in Myanmar, details a criminal conviction and sentencing under the Penal Code, as well as the confiscation of property.

CDM Judge Daw Thinzar Mya

Former Judge Daw Thinzar Mya wrote that Kyaw Soe Khine’s hand writing is so bad that he had to sit the Judge exam for SEVEN (7) times. He had confiscated the others’ religious building (Masjid) illegaly with the unfair law. He had jailed numerous political prisoners. So he was never arrested although he is so corrupt.

Reply by Thinzar Mya

KH asked whether gov could confiscate Shwedagon pagoda IF a trustee supports the PDF?

Former Judge Daw Thinzar Mya replied that even gambling houses could not be confisticated, only the gambling money only could be confiscated.

The Accusation: Junta supporters and nationalist actors (such as Ma Ba Tha figures like Zaw Moe Htet) actively spread propaganda accusing the mosque management of supporting the resistance. They claimed that after the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) initially captured Nawngcho during Operation 1027, the mosque was used to cook meals and distribute rations to TNLA and PDF troops.

The Seizure: Locals pointed out that these accusations were entirely fabricated to incite religious and racial tension, especially since the local Muslim population had already fled the heavy fighting and the mosque was empty. As soon as the military re-entered or consolidated control over parts of the area, they used these proxy accusations to permanently seal (ချိပ်ပိတ်) the buildings.

Because these confiscations are executed directly via military decree, martial order, or weaponized administrative bodies rather than an independent, transparent judicial process, the “court case” is effectively a formalization of the junta’s forced seizure. Organizations like the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) continue to flag these ongoing military targeted actions against religious infrastructure as severe violations of fundamental rights.
