Making history in Ohio, attorney Ajmeri Hoque has been elected as the state’s first Muslim judge and the first naturalized citizen to serve on Franklin County’s bench. Born in Bangladesh and raised in New York, Hoque’s unopposed victory marks a milestone for representation and inclusion in the judiciary.
