Actually, the AA’s supply route runs through the Magway region. If Magway is blocked, AA’s supply line is cut off. Magway is currently under the control of the NUG. That’s why AA has nurtured its affiliated forces in Magway, Sagaing, and Chin regions.
These include groups like BPLA, BNRA, GenZ Army, Student Armed Forces, Yaw Army, YDF, and others. These forces cannot operate under NUG’s Chain of Command (CoC). A similar situation is seen in Chin State, where the Chin Brotherhood operates in the southern part. Paletwa is directly administered by AA.
This situation resembles China’s approach at its border, where it maintains UWSA and MNDAA as proxy forces. China supports UWSA and MNDAA for its strategic interests, and similarly, AA nurtures its own forces for security purposes.
Such a setup makes it difficult for NUG to maintain control on the ground. The fragmented nature of the armed groups disrupts the chain of command. It’s known that General Gun Maw disapproves of this situation. Observers like us also find it problematic.
Although AA may believe this arrangement benefits its military, security, and logistics, a deeper analysis reveals it’s not sustainable. The junta controls most natural resources and enjoys full backing from China and Russia. The longer the revolution drags on, the more advantageous it becomes for the junta.
The fences and forces AA claims to use for defense will inevitably weaken if the military situation in central Myanmar deteriorates. The central region’s military strength is heavily dependent on NUG.
Therefore, AA must shift from its current “fenced defense strategy” to a “shield wall strategy.” This means fully cooperating with NUG and adopting a collective defense model similar to China’s shield wall formations. Though this is written in a digestible way, the core idea is to pursue strategic collaboration with NUG.
Only then will it benefit everyone. The terrorist military council can be defeated. In the history of Myanmar’s revolution, no group has surpassed the achievements of the KNU. Remembering how they reached Insein offers valuable lessons.
Thus, AA should adopt China’s method of nurturing groups—not as separate entities—but as part of a unified, victory-oriented strategy. This was also the message behind General Gun Maw’s cartoon shared yesterday.
We must understand this, internalize it, and act accordingly.

AA ကို ကာကွယ်ကာဆီးထားပါတယ်ဆိုတဲ့ ခြံစည်းရိုးတွေ၊ တပ်တော်တွေဟာ ပြည်မဒေသစစ်ရေးနိမ့်ပါးလာရင် မလွှဲမသွေ ထိခိုက် အားနည်းလာမှာဖြစ်တယ်။ ပြည်မဒေသစစ်ရေးကညNUG အပေါ်လုံးလုံးလျှားလျှားမူတည်နေတယ်။
ဒါကြောင့် AA အနေနဲ့ ယခု ခြံစည်းရီုးစစ်ဗျုဟာကနေ “ သံချပ်ကာစစ်ဗျုဟာ “ ပြောင်းဖို့လိုမယ်။ သံချပ်ကာဆိုတာက NUG နှင့်အပြည့်ပူးပေါင်းပြီး တရုတ်ဇတ်ကာတွေထဲက သံချပ်ကာလူအုပ်စုပုံစံအတိုင်း အချင်းချင်းကာကွယ်ရှေ့တက်တာဖြစ်တယ်။ ဒါကဖတ်လို့ကောင်းအောင်ရေးတာဖြစ်ပြီး ၊ အခြေခံက NUG နှင့် မဟာဗျုဟာမြောက်ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ဖို့ဖြစ်တယ်။
ဒါမျိုးမှ အားလုံးအတွက်အကျိုးရှိမယ်။ အကြမ်းဖက်စစ်ကောင်စီကို အဆုံးသတ်နိုင်မှာဖြစ်တယ်။ မြန်မာပြည်တော်လှန်ရေးသမိုင်းမှာ KNU ထက်စွမ်းဆောင်နိုင်တာအခုထိမရှိသေးပဲ၊ အင်းစိန်အထိသိမ်းပိုက်နိုင်ခဲ့တာကို သတိရကြရင် သင်ခန်းစာယူနိုင်မယ်။
