Comparative Presentation on Religious Extremism

I am presenting a comparison of some of the mocking and insulting words often used by extremists who exalt their own beliefs while demeaning other religions.
Christianity
Claim 1: “It is impossible that God created everything.”
- Comparison: In the Dhammapada Commentary (Vol. 2), pages 160-163, it is stated that to subdue the heretics in Savatthi, the Buddha created a golden walkway in the sky and a duplicate image of himself, performing the Twin Miracle of water and fire.
- The Buddha also manifested the Loka-vivarana miracle, allowing all three worlds to see each other without obstruction.
- In the fourth week after enlightenment, to clear the doubts of Devas and Brahmas, he created a “Jeweled House” (Ratanaghara) in the sky to contemplate the Abhidhamma. Therefore, the concept of a “creator” or “creation” should not be a point of dispute against Christians.
Claim 2: “Jesus was born without a father.”
- Comparison: In the Maha Buddhavamsa (Vol. 2), pages 485-600, in the story of Suvannasama (one of the ten Great Jatakas), the elderly blind hermit couple, Dukula and Parika, conceived a child. At the suggestion of Sakka (King of Devas), Dukula touched Parika’s navel, and she became pregnant with the Bodhisatta Suvannasama. Thus, the birth of Jesus through the Holy Spirit should not be a point of dispute.
Claim 3: “It is impossible for Jesus to rise again on the third day after death.”
- Comparison: The Chief Disciple Maha Moggallana was beaten by 500 bandits until his bones were crushed to the size of grains. Though he “died,” he regained his life through his psychic powers (as recorded in the Moggallana Thera Vatthu, pages 133-140). Therefore, the resurrection of Jesus on the third day should not be a point of dispute.
Islam
Claim 1: “Muslims don’t eat pork because pigs were once ancestors of Muhammad.”
- Explanation: This is a false insult. Muslims avoid pork because it contains high levels of saturated fat and cholesterol, which can lead to high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, and strokes.
- It is linked to obesity, diabetes, and colon cancer.
- Pork can carry parasites (like Trichinella) causing muscle pain and fever, and can even lead to brain issues and seizures. This health-based reasoning is why Islam prohibits pork.
Claim 2: “786 means Islam will rule the world in the 21st century.”
- Explanation: The number 786 is simply the numerical value (Abjad system) of the Arabic phrase “Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim” (In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful).
- The reason for using the digits instead of the holy name is to prevent the sacred Arabic text from being accidentally dirtied, stepped on, or discarded disrespectfully. It is a religious practice of preservation, not a political prophecy of world domination.
We have already seen the devastating consequences of the dehumanizing religious extremism and fabricated stories spread by groups like the Ma Ba Tha (969) and monks like Wirathu.
Therefore, in building a new future for Myanmar—free from dictatorship and hatred—we must set aside religious and racial biases. Only when all religions and ethnicities living in Myanmar unite, like “one brick and one grain of sand,” will we see the beautiful future we all hope for.
I have compiled this with the intention of fostering a constructive spirit so we can rebuild a society where we live together in peace.
