Other participants received prison terms. <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kalagon_massacre?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wikipedia<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>International Military Tribunal for the Far East (IMTFE) \u2014 Tokyo War Crimes Trials<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>**General **Heitar\u014d <strong>Kimura<\/strong>, who had served as <strong>Commander of the Burma Area Army<\/strong> (from August 1944 through the Japanese surrender), was <strong>not tried in Rangoon but at the Tokyo Tribunal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the IMTFE \u2014 often referred to as the <strong>Tokyo War Crimes Trial<\/strong> \u2014 Kimura was indicted on multiple counts, including <strong>crimes against peace, war crimes, and crimes against humanity<\/strong>.
