However, there are several <strong>bilateral developments<\/strong> and <strong>multilateral meetings<\/strong> that hint at strategic coordination, though not a single unified infrastructure pact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">China\u2013Myanmar\u2013India Road Link: Status<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>While the idea of a <strong>trilateral highway<\/strong> has circulated for years\u2014especially under the <strong>BCIM (Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar) Economic Corridor<\/strong>\u2014India has <strong>paused its participation<\/strong> in BCIM due to strategic concerns, particularly over sovereignty and China&#8217;s Belt and Road Initiative.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recent meetings between <strong>Xi and Min Aung Hlaing<\/strong> emphasized advancing the <strong>China\u2013Myanmar Economic Corridor<\/strong>, which includes infrastructure projects like roads, ports, and energy pipelines2.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Modi and Xi<\/strong> did meet at the <strong>Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Tianjin<\/strong> in August 2025, but no public record confirms a trilateral infrastructure agreement involving Myanmar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other Confirmed Agreements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">China\u2013Myanmar<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Multiple bilateral agreements signed in <strong>customs, media, and infrastructure cooperation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emphasis on <strong>Belt and Road projects<\/strong>, border stability, and combating cross-border crimes3.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Myanmar\u2013Russia<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In <strong>March 2025<\/strong>, Min Aung Hlaing and <strong>Putin<\/strong> signed <strong>ten agreements<\/strong>, including:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Construction of a <strong>small-scale nuclear power plant<\/strong> in Myanmar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cooperation in <strong>energy, defense, customs, education, and space technology<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expansion of <strong>Russian oil exports<\/strong> and <strong>military equipment supply<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">China\u2013India<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Xi and Modi pledged <strong>deeper cooperation<\/strong> at the SCO Summit, especially in response to global trade tensions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No confirmed joint infrastructure projects with Myanmar were announced.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So while there\u2019s <strong>no trilateral road agreement<\/strong>, the <strong>web of bilateral deals<\/strong>\u2014especially China\u2013Myanmar and Myanmar\u2013Russia\u2014suggests a growing strategic alignment. If such a road project were to emerge, it would likely be framed within <strong>China\u2019s Belt and Road<\/strong> and <strong>Myanmar\u2019s regional connectivity ambitions<\/strong>, but
