The Spanish airline Vueling \u201ccategorically denied\u201d allegations of antisemitism on Thursday after removing a group of French students and a teacher from one of its flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around 50 Jewish \u201ccampers\u201d and their 21-year-old summer camp director were booted from a flight from Valencia to Paris on Wednesday, according to Israeli media..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe actions of the on-board staff were solely in response to behaviour that compromised the integrity of the flight, as well as the safety of the passengers and the operation as a whole,\u201d Vueling said in a statement on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline said that the teenage passengers \u201cengaged in highly disruptive behavior, putting at risk the safe conduct of the flight.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It stated that the group mishandled emergency equipment and \u201cactively disrupted\u201d the mandatory safety demonstration, repeatedly ignoring cabin crew instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDespite multiple warnings, this inappropriate behaviour persisted, which forced the crew to activate established safety protocols,\u201d the airline said, adding that the crew then, acting \u201cin accordance with Vueling procedures,\u201d requested the intervention of the Spanish police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After assessing the situation, the police \u201cdecided to disembark\u201d the group from the aircraft \u201cto prioritize the safety of the other passengers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Violent Attitude\u2019<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Once at the terminal, \u201cthe group\u2019s behaviour continued to be aggressive,\u201d with some individuals displaying \u201ca violent attitude\u201d toward authorities, \u201cwhich even led to the arrest of one of the group\u2019s members,\u201d Vueling added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Media reports and social media posts claimed the group was removed after Jewish students aged 10 to 15 were heard singing songs in Hebrew on the plane, the Anadolu news agency reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel\u2019s Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Minister Amichai Chikli echoed these reports, alleging the camp director was arrested in a \u201cserious\u201d antisemitic incident, the report stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Vueling airline crew said that Israel is a terrorist state,\u201d he reportedly claimed, suggesting the incident was triggered by \u201cHamas\u2019s campaign of lies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe categorically deny any claims linking the crew\u2019s decision to the religious expression of the passengers involved, which we fully respect,\u201d the airline stated.\u201c At Vueling, we categorically reject any form of discrimination without exception.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Times of Israel reported that the Israeli Foreign Ministry \u201chas intervened in several other incidents that caused concern for Israeli and Jewish safety abroad this week, including an Israeli-owned cruise ship that was blocked by anti-Israel protesters from docking a Greek island.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On October 7, 2023, following a Palestinian Resistance operation in southern Israel, the Israeli military launched a genocidal war against the Palestinians, killing over 59,000, wounding more than 142,000, with over 14,000 still missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite habitual condemnation by many countries around the world of the Israeli genocide, little has been done to hold Israel accountable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel is currently under investigation for the crime of genocide by the International Court of Justice, while accused war criminals \u2014 including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu \u2014 are now officially wanted by the International Criminal Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Israeli genocide has been largely defended, supported, and financed by Washington and a few other Western powers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
