Draft Codes and Charter for Circulation at the United Nations General Assembly
Drafted by DARZKKG
The people of Myanmar have endured more than four years of conflict, repression, and humanitarian catastrophe since the military coup of 1 February 2021. Despite immense sacrifices, the struggle for democracy and human dignity continues. The unity of diverse communities—Bamar, Kachin, Rakhine, Rohingya, Chin, Shan, Karen, Mon, and others—remains essential to building a peaceful, federal, and democratic Union.
At this historic moment, and in light of discussions at the United Nations General Assembly, the undersigned representatives of the Spring Revolution respectfully submit the following Draft Codes and Charter for consideration by international partners and for adoption by all revolutionary forces:
- Code for the Protection of Civilians and Prevention of Atrocities
- Code for Inclusion, Equal Citizenship, and Minority Rights
- Code for Resource Governance and Conflict-Free Certification
- Charter of the Joint Operations and Political Council (JOPC)
These documents are proposed as a foundation for a united revolutionary command, a binding commitment to human rights and accountability, and a framework for transparent governance of national resources. They also serve as an assurance to the international community that the Spring Revolution is not only a struggle against dictatorship, but also a movement committed to justice, inclusion, and peace.
We respectfully invite delegates, governments, and civil society to review these Draft Codes and Charter, to provide feedback, and to encourage their adoption. We believe that this collective commitment can strengthen the legitimacy of Myanmar’s democratic forces and open the way for meaningful international partnership in ending the crisis.
