I hereby wish to ask new NLD Government and Myanmar Military Government whether they dare to CANCEL ALL the contracts and agreements made by the PREVIOUS USDP and military Governments with China, Thailand and other countries?

UK government is morally responsible to push Myanmar to accept the UN Peace-keepers in Rakhine and the Ethnic Minority areas

Secret 1978 Document Indicates Burma Recognized Rohingya Legal Residence

Even the NLD Chairman U Tin Oo claimed shamelessly that Rohingya was the creation of U Nu’s Government and U Nu just used them to get votes to win election.

Very important question to Former General U Tin Oo of NLD, Myanmar President, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and Myanmar Military Chief of Staff (Karchoke) Sr General Min Aung Hlaing.

Why should the Ethnic Minority rebels trust you all even IF you agree to their demands, sign the peace agreement and they agree to lay down their arms IF you could betray the other rebel group after doing all these things.

After the Rohingya rebels laid down their arms, you all are discarding your agreements and even have a gall to tell that there is NO ROHINGYA in Myanmar history and claim that they are illegal immigrants.

Even the NLD Chairman U Tin Oo claimed shamelessly that Rohingya was the creation of U Nu’s Government and U Nu just used them to get votes to win election. By the way, U Nu’s government was the FIRST EVER DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT elected by the people of Burma. U Nu was the 100% government but not like the 75% present NLD Government and U Nu had the power to control all the Ministries including the Defence and Home Ministry.

For your information, USDP U Thein Sein had also had done the same thing to use Rohingyas to get votes in 2010 General Election.

I hereby wish to ask new NLD Government and Myanmar Military Government whether they dare to CANCEL ALL the contracts and agreements made by the PREVIOUS USDP and military Governments with China, Thailand and other countries?

Rtd. Sr. General Than Shwe, Sr. General Min Aung Hlaing and Rtd. General President U Thein Sein should all be court-martialed for disobedience of their predecessor Former Deputy Chief of Staff Brig. General Aung Gyi’s order dated 4th. July 1961 recognizing Rohingyas as Ethnic National Minority and promises of Social, Economical and Religious supports. He had even promised budgets and donations to build new Masjids and the protection.

Dr Maung Zarni>>>Rohingya genocide is good for Myanmar!

Here is why and how:

What are Thein Sein Government’s strategic gains from granting the Nazi Rakhines political impunity? How does the central government benefit from the “communal violence” in Rakhine State?

As Human Rights Watch put it in 1993, there are no strategic gains or benefits for the external players from helping end the Rohingya’s sufferings.

Two issues below: 1) the Rohingya ethnic and citizenship status and 2) the gains of the Rohingya genocide (and larger anti-Muslim mobilization by the Myanmar government via the 969 and other moles in the Buddhist Order

“Our Ethnic Nationality Brothers and Sisters, the Rohingya citizens of Burma”

Burma’s Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, Brigadier General Aung Gyi, July 1961

Please pass this on to Rohingya and Rohingya genocidal denying President Thein Sein (DSA-9), who was NOT even old enough to be a cadet at the Defense Services Academy (DSA) in May Myo in 1961. Pass this on to Myanmar’s “National Human Rights Commission” which refuses to use the word ‘Rohingya’ in all communications. NHRC is a bad taste joke.

Here is one of the late step-fathers of the Burma or Myanmar Armed Forces – pa-htwe as we would say in Burmese – Brigadier Aung Gyi addressing the Rohingya as “Our Ethnic Nationality Brothers and Sisters, the Rohingya citizens” officially in his surrender acceptance speech in July 1961.

Source: May Yu Special Issue, Khit Yay Journal, Ministry of Defence, the Union of Burma, 15 July 1961

The special issue covers the news of the surrender of the Mujahadeen separatist movement. The Vice Chief of Staff of the Burma’s Armed Forces Brigadier Aung Gyi attended the surrender ceremony.

The majority of the Rohingya supported and collaborated with the central Burmese government, especially with the Armed Forces, in opposing any separatist movement.

The result was the collapse of the armed separatist movement and the eventual surrender of the Mujahadeen leadership.

The Union of Burma Government duly recognized the Rohingya people’s contribution in keeping the territorial integrity of Western Burma where they were administered in a special district called ‘May Yu’.

Mistreated by and unwelcome in the formerly East Pakistan and now Bangladesh, the Rohingya have been loyal and attached to their birthplace – Burma/Myanmar.

In contrast, the Rakhine strongly hold independence aspirations, resent the Burmese for having destroyed their kingdom in 1785, abused and colonized them and demand greater autonomy.

The central military strategists have for the longest time played the Rohingya against the Rakhine.

In this episode of the country’s history, the Rohingya were described rather positively as ‘our ethnic nationality – Lu Myo Su), the Rohingya citizens’.

But since 1974 Ne Win’s maniacal government adopted anti-Muslim – and ant-Christian racism as a matter of state policy. The Rohingya have found themselves on the receiving end of this genocidal ideological shift.

The Rakhines are being seen around the world as neo-Nazi as a result of their blood-thirsty racism towards the Rakines and all Muslims in Arakan state

==================================

What does Myanmar government gain, domestically, from the continuing genocidal violence against the Rohingya ?

The Burmese military leaders are simply using the Rakhines as a strategic proxy for their own larger strategic ends – which include 1) keeping the public on its toes (managed social instability which demands a degree of military presence and keeps the importance of the security forces in the Burmese psyche); 2) distracting the public from the country’s real issue, that is, the continuing gang rape and day light robbery of the country’s economic assets; 3) driving the wedge between the racist Buddhist majority and the liberally oriented, but equally racist NLD opposition, especially Aung San Suu Kyi, using the Buddhist monks as the military’s proxy; 4) tarnishing the image of Buddhist monks who emerged as loving kindness heroes in the Saffron Revolt; and 5) turning the prickly Rakhine nationalists who demand greater autonomy and greater share of revenues and resources with the central Naypyidaw government into the world’s most reviled new Nazis.
